I was every bit excited when it was released on CD entirely to be rottenly disappointed by the editing and mixing done to furnish all the tracks on a one-member CD - hence 5 stars for what I hump to be a really expectant album and 2 stars for the derogation on "Take Five", "Burst In With The Dawn", "Loving You" and "We Got By." Hopefully the album will be remastered into a 2-disc CD set. LP edition is better. The originative LP had an other 45 seconds of Take Five at the beginning of the recording; this is lacking in the CD version. This album ranks at the high best of any "Live" recording by any artist lean. I wish the seminal could be remastered in a figure-CD set that would meliorate this workplace to thats new ending experimental condition--the album of the century deserves nothing less. When I found the album on CD, I was thrilled. In a existence of hyperbole, this acquisition by a truely precocious musician, is stunning. This is my favored album by Al Jarreau. There is no CD that I deal with the frequency of this one.Al's ability to business a song into an event cannot be matched by anyone. The general auditory sensation compliments his vocalisation magnificently.
